Thankyou for looking in on our Great Dane Blog…firstly we have to add that this week Boo our Blue girl is due her litter, a repeat mating from last summer..something we are very happily awaiting…so news  daily on thus.. plus our daily exploits,up’s and downs with all our danes will be arriving as and when we can on these pages.

26 days old

Hi everyone..firstly apologies havent posted recently on the blog, have added more pics onto website but I’ll update here now, I couldnt post on here for some reason..  but have to say pups are brilliant, 26 days old today all are fit/healthy and well and growing at a rapid rate..  for those of you wanting to phone .. orry  dropped my mobile into a bucket of water yesterday so its out of order..  email me for now and i’ll post a new number on the website in case you want to keep in touch..or arrange to see pups…look forward to seeing  you all soon..half -way stage now..  time really does fly..so heres a 2 pics taken today ..karens holding a pup.., and the other being very forward trying the adults bowl out.. you can see there really an armful..nice’n’ chunky and lovely shiny coats..I think you’ll all be very happy with your new Family member…

Well  a tiring 24 hrs..  especially for Boo..  we think if there are no more suprises 9 is the tally.. will update on sexes tommorrow..a bit tired now so i could make mistakes..

Guess What ?

In the early hours today..Boo began to deliver her pups..we are really  pleased to say Boo is very well and so are 7 Blue fantastic pups…she’s done us proud …be back later for an update.

Well Boo hasnt eaten today .. which in my book is a sure sign somethings about to happen..  she is wandering, and restless..and very stuck to me today too..which is also a sign..  of things to come..so  i’d bet im on here soon..with some news… so keep tuning in…

Tea Time

Well Boo has managed to eat all her tea..  how she has room I do not know..she’s sat looking at me and I her.. waiting for me to say something..and I’m waiting for her to do something creative like start giving Birth..

I dont know this time I’m bursting with excitement…and Boo is bursting with Puppies by the look..lol  dont think tonight is the night..  but ya never know.

Wednesday 8th September

Yes 4 days on the calender to the main event..  Boo has her place marked out ..literally.. and have the medical kit in place..sounds a bit ominous does’nt it but basic stuff ,towels scissors, cotton wool.. clean wipes water and bowl..etc;..she kept me awake last night.. pacing etc;  but i knew it wasnt time  as she nicked my chocolate finger off my plate..  you haveto laugh..im all waiting and watching and Boo is concentrating on feeding herself and pups.. what a team !!,,……..Keep tuning in !!

A Quiet night

Well no change here tonight, Boo is finding life a bit hard today..lost her temper with one of ur new editions.. and has  just ate her tea and trundled back to her bed proper fed up..…so that means not yet, last time she didnt eat and stood by me for an hour while i rubbed her back…  then things developed..no doubt it’ll be the early hours..whatever the day..Something about watching sun-up delivering new born pups…i’ll leave you with that thought for today.

Sausages..

Monday…Moral of this tale..never leave a pan of sausages frying away with danes around..especially Boo.. who still seems quite able to stand on two feet whilst nicking my grub… 5 sausages gone a miss..no trace.. gone …!!!
